Subwoofer not working Lenovo Y70-70 touch (Ubuntu 16.04 - 18.04)

Lenovo Y70-70 comes with an internal speaker, however it doesnt work on Ubuntu. Im trying to move away from Windows, but bad sound quality is keeping me back. I was wondering if someone maybe has some unique solution for this specific laptop that I may have missed If you can find it with a google search, chances are that I have already tried it and it failed.
