I am considering to convert to Islam, please clarify my doubts my dear brothers and sisters!
I am an ex-Hindu and currently a Christian considering to revert to Islam. I used to be hostile towards Islam and many times have commented disgusting and blasphemous things at Islam SE, which I deeply regret and I am extremely sorry. As I confess my sins, mistakes and guilt with tears in my eyes, I remember Caliph Umar ibn Al-Khattab, who was so hostile towards Islam that he wanted to kill the Apostle of Allah, Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. But the same Umar embraced Islam and became one of the most respected and honoured Islamic Caliph I know Allah subhana wa tala will forgive me if I declare that there is no deity, no gods or goddesses worthy of deification, veneration and worship but Allah Azzawajal, and He sent many prophets as His messengers and servants, one of whom was Hazrat Isa alai hi salaam, but His last prophet and final messenger was Hazrat Muhammad rasululla salallahu alaihi wassallam. I shall worship the Creator not the creations. Currently I am reading the English interpretation of the Quran e Pak by Marmaduke Pikthal. I have three questions that need to be clarified before I formally embrace Deen e Islam in a Masjid before my Muslim brothers and sisters. They are as follows: 1 One sentence that stopped me from considering Islam before was that the tomb of Muhammad is occupied, while the tomb of Jesus is empty, an argument used to justify crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus peace be upon him. Islam is very clear about it that al yahood the Jews wanted to kill Jesus and crucify him, but the God Almighty did not let his messenger to die a shameful death, hence He picked him up and he Jesus shall return to kill the al Masih ad-Dajjal and rule the earth for 40 years, but after the coming of Imam Mahdi Jesus will arrive. I believe that God is neither begotten by someone nor he begets someone, nor He suffers and commits suicide for our sins. We do not share our sins with anyone. But how do I refute the claim that crucifixion of Jesus peace be upon him was a historical event 2 Can I perform wudhu in toiletswashrooms 3 After I formally become Muslim and recognized as a member of the Muslim Ummah, can I legally change my name to Umar Amin I like the name very much
